Community Development staff are available to help municipalities research successful planning and zoning techniques which can help implement local and regional objectives.  We subscribe to MUNILAW, an on-line service providing Zoning & Subdivision by-laws, ordinances and maps for every municipality in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, which we can use to provide information to our member towns.

Referrals

Sections 8-3b, 8-26b, and 8-23f of the Connecticut General Statutes require that the regional planning agency review and comment upon zoning amendments and subdivisions, under certain conditions, as well as updates to municipal plans of conservation and development.
