Exercises / Drills
Through our homeland security initiative, CRCOG can offer planning and funding assistance to towns wishing to conduct exercises / drills. If you have questions or are interested in organizing a drill, please contact Kristin Dean, ext. 21 or kdean@crcog.org.
Training
Providing an extensive program of multi-discipline training is a high priority of CRCOG’s homeland security initiative. Our current training emphasis is on supporting National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance efforts.
EMS Training
The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Hazardous Response Training Program has been developed by the Capitol Region Emergency Planning Committee (CREPC) in response to a recognized need to develop EMS capabilities to operate safely and effectively in response to a hazardous material (HAZMAT) or chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high explosive (CBRNE) incident. Unless noted, documents below were updated on 12/5/07.
