In these increasingly difficult economic times, town budgets are tighter and efficiency becomes more important.  Sharing resources is an option which allows municipalities to work together to reduce costs and enhance services.  This resource page provides documentation to assist you if considering inter-town service cooperation as it relates to public works and engineering tasks.

What is Resource Sharing?

Resource sharing is an inter-town cooperation program designed to reduce costs while maintaining or improving services provided. Connecticut legislation that enables resource sharing includes Connecticut Statutes 7-148cc and 28-22a.
