Bus Users Forum

A suggestion made at one of the initial Environmental Justice meetings was to hold regular meetings at which bus users could express their ideas for improving the operation of the local bus service.   Thus, the Bus Users Forum was born.  The first Bus Users Forum, sponsored by CRCOG and CT Transit, was held October 16, 2003 at Capital Community College and was well attended. Other Bus Users Forums have been held: on March 11, 2004 at the Raymond Public Library in East Hartford, September 29, 2004 at the Albany Avenue Branch Library in Hartford, and on June 28, 2006 at the Parkville Senior Center in Hartford. 

All of the Forums afforded an opportunity for bus passengers to ask questions of CT Transit personnel and to make suggestions for improving local bus service.
